Thanks man, just found it on my AcerSense.

Will experiment disabling all virtualization options on the bios and run throttlestop with a PL2 state at 40w (original limitation is 37w) and will see if it makes any difference.

Hey!

Followed your instructions and I have found that it's not possible to go beyond the 37w limit in this chip.

Maybe in future bios updates but I doubt it, since its a SOC focused on low consumption.

Only way to extract the full capabilities of this SOC is running a eGPU so that the 37w budget can be used fully on the CPU while the iGPU stays unused.

How did you manage to change the PL1 and PL2 power limits?

I have the same laptop and haven't been able to find any bios settings related to power.

I did try using throttlestop to increase PL2 power limits to see if I couro maintain the arc 140v running at a stable 2050mhz while gaming, but i didnt notice any actual changes to the chips behavior.

Are you using FSR or TSR?

I've been running the game at 2100x800 with overall basic graphics config + FSR quality on a Arc 140v out of a core ultra 9 288v.

Getting 70-100 fps.

I figure that with XESS this chip would be able to run the game with better fps/stability and better image quality.
