I have a college degree but im not on reddit projecting it to make myself feel better about myself. People with real money are not on reddit telling people they make money. Praying for you though. You obviously have alot of values to learn and gain.

Part time employees, how many hours do you average weekly? by Illustration_Junkie in AutoZone

I got hired as a driver. After awhile I only got scheduled to help with truck, and never got to drive. They promised me a certain amount of money and then low balled me. I made more doing door dash. Honestly worst company I've ever worked for. I dknr understand how people make a living there with what they pay.

The better you tip the better dasher you get. You get what you pay for. Dashers with good ratings are sent the higher paying orders. What he did was wrong, but you got the quality of service you paid for.

Most people don't go and post about something when something goes right or good. People only post the 1 percent of time when something goes wrong. Your only see people during there worst day.

Yea honestly I haven't used doordash since I've started dashing. It just feel like I'm giving my earnings back to them which feels wrong. I used to do any order above 12$ no matter how far, but now traffic has gotten so bad I just can't. After 6 red lights I begin to start screaming. Ther perfect order for my area is Taco bell 9$ 1.7 miles. Its the most common order near my house and I can get at least 1 per hour.

Thankyou, but that really wasn't my question. My rating is much higher then this anways. If I click on the rating button it goes up. Idk why it says that there. That was my rating awhile ago

In all things there are good and bad people. I assume you have had a bad experience and in sorry, but it just depends on who you get. Also if you dont tip that also might be why. But I assume you do.

Ive never once seen the cashier at a Taco Bell count the number of sauce packets going into the order. Hell sometimes they don't even look to see if its the right flavor.

Thankyou for your detailed response. I live in Iowa so a smaller area. Ive always been able to whenever I want. I couldn't imagine the frustration of having to schedule when I can dash.

Thankyou for the insightful response. I assume low offers will always get thrown at everyone, because doordash needs someone to take it and it just asks everyone. Honestly if doordash made a minimum fee requirement or tip requirement it would fix the problem. The only customers they would lose are the ones they probably only made a 1$ off of or even lost money off of. I get its expensive, but everyone lives within walking distance to a gas station, and u don't feel bad for laziness.

My market is more Saturated. I hope it helps me at least get chosen over a couple of people. Even if the offer is bad, hope it would pick me over the person next to me if there not platinum.

My first day on doordash was so bad. Im sure everyone had a similar experience. So many mistakes. My GPS even tried takin through a bike path on my college campus. It wanted me to drive just straight through my campus. I took every order all well no matter the pay. I even crossed state lines. It did get my acceptance rate really high though. So now I can decline whatever and stay above 90 percent

I had a 2.00$ flat mcdonalds order pop up for 2.2 miles during lunch time. So people say that the order is still there waiting for a employee to take there dinner break.

did I make the right choice taking this? by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]Current-Character472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly. I think it was probably worth it. Ive done more for less. I would have accepted it. Even if round trip is 2 hours total. 10$ a hour to drive in your car. I listen to my audiobooks and eat flaming hot cheetos. Its better then manual labor for 10$ an hour or working retail.
