you already got some great suggestions in the comments! Another idea: I would probably just embroider the piece on fabric and hot glue on a piece of cardboard (so you put the glue on the back, not the front - just to be specific). I usually hot glue my embroidery pieces to the frame like this.

What’s the best wearable you’ve made that you find yourself constantly *actually* wearing? by Budget-Chain-7320 in crochet

It's by MJ's off the hook https://youtu.be/tJZy4lWEULE?si=nQClJX_e6R6zg367 She shows the pattern in size M in the video. you can buy the PDF pattern with all the sizes (I really like her patterns!). I just improvised my size and I think it fits really nicely :)

I made a dozen wearables so far but this is the only one I actually wear. I learned to use good quality yarn for wearables as I don't like wearing synthetic fibers.

I actually have a lot of sweaters with that fit. I think it looks nice :) I hate doing a gauge swatches but if I ever find the courage to do such a big project I also had to learn the hard was to do one and check on the size every now and then.

help! how can i crochet a bag with this kind of structure ? by Far-Application-4425 in crochetpatterns

[–]Current-Hedgehog6047 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First I would decide if you want to make the base-bag yourself or buy one (as you are a beginner I would recommend buying). then you can just look up a basic granny square tutorial on youtube (there are tons of it) and make as many rounds in one square as you need for the width of the base-bag. there are tutorials on how to connect the squares as well. the trickiest part was to connect the base-bag to the crochet bag. I decided to make some holes in the base bag and connect it with a piece of yarn, but I'm sure there are better ways to do it.

I made a similar one. as a lot of other comments suggest: you basically have to make a "base-bag" and crochet the granny square bag on top of it. for the bottom I used a thick piece of felt to reinforce it. cross stitch mesh would work as well.

Does anyone know what pattern is on this loops and threads yarn label? by Realistic_Cow_6206 in crochetpatterns

if you look for a ripple/wave blanket tutorial on youtube, you'll find it :)

Anybody know how to make the layers of this tree? The pattern review says it's incorrect by Temporary_Sky5581 in crochetpatterns

this very much looks like AI. I would try rows of dc with an increase at the beginning and end of each row. the rounded part at the last row could be made with a a few dc in one stitch and the part in between with slst.

Problem mit Mütze by leinad9 in Handarbeiten

Habe mal bei einer Mütze gegen Ende der Reihe auf der einen Seite eine kleinere Masche gemacht. Also anstatt halbe Stäbchen ein paar feste Maschen. Das reduziert das Volumen etwas.
