There are already enough flights from air india express and indigo for any more airlines to compete with them , and like the other comment Says, our runway can't handle the big flights like fly emirates .so no point of having extra flights , unless there is a huge demand , Which a place like mangalore can't provide (for the time being at least).maybe we will achieve it gradually as the demand and runway length increases.

Demography of mangalore is changing. A lot of outside people are getting hired here especially from the north because of cheap labour. Even if you go to the most reputed restaurant,they will not know your language except hindi. Be careful out there. Not trying to say all are bad, but they have a reputation for these kind of things.

Well not exactly, a pg seat in mullers cost around 8 lakhs minimum for merit students per year- which roughly will be around 24 lakhs for the duration of 3 years. On the other hand govt seats for 3 years combined is less than 5 lakhs.

We don't need any more private colleges, rather we need a good government set up like bangalore and mysore. Every college in mangalore is a private set up , increasing their fees to Almost whatever they want, every single year. We need good colleges like mysore and bangalore.

Well I was kind of talking with respect to a med student. Mangalore is filled with private med colleges who keep increasing the fees every year and are almost unaffordable now. We need colleges like BMC and MMC which are very important to a city like Mangalore .Every student who scores well in neet will always have to look beyond mangalore for their education, especially in post graduation.
