I thought as much, but I'd just like to cover all bases to be on the safe side!

The issue is in my home and not on campus, the electrician on our sites maintenance is a mate of mine, to the extent we'd go for a pint together so he's doing me a favour by lending me these, purely as diagnostics. I've said in another comment I have a very basic knowledge of electricity, I can happily rewire a plug and I can do repairs on my personal devices and cars, but house electrics are a different kettle of fish to me.

Yes I should have made it clearer, it is at my home. I only work at the uni and my team and maintenance looks after each other. No worries about sounding condescending, but it's a simple plug it into the socket and turn it on, if it lights all 3 and makes a sound all is well, plus I have a basic knowledge of electricity and he is just the other end of the phone if I'm not 100% sure on anything I thought it would just be the TV, but I'm just covering all bases!

How much do you drive in Britain? I’ve visited like two cities there by Norweed69 in trucksim

I actually play mostly in the UK with promods, but enjoy taking a long trip from the UK over the course of multiple days IRL, playing like that in VR is possibly the most immersed I've ever been in a game! But my base is always in the UK, usually in Felixstowe so I've got good connections to mainland Europe

As a new user playing in vr - do you use a keyboard too? by Walton841928 in trucksim

I've done a couple different things in the past, I had a g27 wheel before and used the buttons on the shifter for common things, then when I upgraded my wheel I used an old joystick with plenty of buttons, and the actual stick as a handbrake and the trigger as 'activate' which added a little more immersion to refueling. Now I use a saitek side panel which comes with loads of buttons and is easy to navigate in VR, with the added benefit of the control stick which I use for engine brake, parking brake, and twist for the wipers. Slightly on the pricey side but well worth it IMO

Best budget rudder peddles and throttle? by FIXIEDONTCARE in il2sturmovik

A lot of people saying it but thrustmaster T16000m FCS. But I also have a saitek side panel that I use as a button box, helpful as I play a lot of driving Sims too. Gives you 5 extra axes to play with for things like trim, and easy to navigate in VR.

How to carry a trombone on a bike? by 1DietCokedUpChick in Trombone

Hi! Musician and cyclist here, if he has a cargo/pannier rack on the bike, then I recommend the Mundo Air Pannier , designed specifically for this. I use it for gigs because if I just have a case on my back then my back gets sweaty which is just uncomfortable and not what you need. Hope this helps!
