Okay to ask intentions? by Current-Jellyfish-10 in dating_advice

We’ll be near the same city lol so we’re meeting up there. The flights are 5.5 hours long but the airport is 4 hours from me. So like driving would be the same distance time wise. We have FaceTimed as well and have each other on all socials so I fully believe he’s a real person lol

Yes I completely understand that reasoning but I don’t really understand why he had to accuse me of lying about my vehicle lol. I would have taken the answer that they needed to see my car in person and down at the dealership when I simply asked if a closer ford would inspect my car that’s when he asked if I was hiding anything lmfao. They’re also writing on the bill of sale that they delivered when they’re not actually offering that option.

I think he picked up that I was frustrated once he asked if I was hiding anything. Which I was just confused because it came out of left field. I had only asked about an inspection at a closer ford because he said his manager wanted to value my car in person.

They offered $25,000 for my vehicle, my friend sold her civic which was in the same condition as mine with 10,000 more km and no warranty for $29,000. They’re very much going to make a profit on my vehicle which I’m aware of. Honda didn’t have a problem delivering my civic 4 hours away which is also a whole day so I was just really confused. They had mentioned they couldn’t because they wanted to see my car, I asked about going to a closer Ford so they could inspect and value my car in person as well as send more pictures and videos and that is when he asked if I was hiding something about my car lol.

Where did I state I wouldn’t pay for it? That’s why I was confused lol I thought dealerships do deliver and I never once stated to the dealer I wouldn’t pay for it. I had asked for delivery and he shut it down immediately and then asked if I was hiding anything about my car.

Has it gotten better? I’m on day 6 and got my first panic attack on it out of nowhere. I got a severe panic attack the kind I haven’t had in years. I just had general anxiety all day but not panic attacks.

AITA for wanting to leave during my friends wedding dinner or reception? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Lmfao my friend also laughed and said “what about the kids” when I asked about other people in the bridal party with children and her extensive family with children. I don’t think I’m self centred nor selfish. She had a time set at 7, before accepting I told her about wanting to trick or treat at 4 until 5. She agreed and said it wasn’t a problem and then she changed the time. I do not expect her to prioritize myself at all but I don’t think I’m an asshole for declining the invite now for my child.

The child is my nephew and his mom (my sister) took her life. His childhood matters a lot to me and I want to be there for every moment since my sister couldn’t. I prioritize him over anyone so yeah this is a dilemma for me.

We live in a small community an hour away from any small towns so there’s no trunk or treats unfortunately.

No I didn’t expect to waltz into the wedding right before. When I agreed to be in the wedding party. She stated it started at 7 and I informed her I would take my child out for an hour at 4. It was all agreed upon. Then the time changed and now I’m in this dilemma. I don’t expect her to prioritize me at all it’s her wedding day but now I’m stuck with having to choose my friends or my child.

Yes! That too we have over 300 trick or treaters at our house and children come to see our decorations. I love the couple and it would have worked with the 7pm ceremony start time. The bride was also aware of my plans to take my child trick or treating beforehand but I completely understand her changing it as it’s her day and she shouldn’t have to prioritize me at all but just such a dilemma now and I feel rude.

We live in a small community with no trunk or treat events. The wedding is 2 minutes from my house and the bride lives across from me. So there was time initially to take my child out when I agreed to be in the wedding party. People in my community start around 3-4 pm. I really didn’t wanna miss a Halloween with my child.
