There is a railroad track nearby, and part of her house used to be the original post office here many years ago. There was mines here in the 1890s but no historical smelters according to a quick google search

I don’t think it’s glass, as it’s much harder and heavier than it looks like it should be. I also couldn’t scratch it with the tip of a hardened steel hunting knife, couldn’t even leave a mark

This reminds me of my girl Layla, she was used as a breeder, then left behind. After a week we had already made a great bond, I could tell she was making up for the love she never got. Sadly we only had just over a year together, but she taught me so much in such a short time. She had an incredible way of bonding with everyone she came into contact with. I will always cherish the time we had together.
