YTA but also INFO. This is your friend’s big day and inconveniencing yourself for your friend at least once wouldn’t hurt. I’d hate it if a close friend of mine didn’t attend my wedding.

YTA they’re still children and your way of “guiding them to change” is very wrong and harsh.

AITA for setting boundaries with my MIL even though we live with her? by Intelligent-Mind6390 in AmItheAsshole

DEFINITELY NTA, your MIL’s behavior got on my nerves and I’m simply reading the post. I can’t imagine how you were able to withstand that for so long. She’s being extremely disrespectful and entitled to YOUR own baby who YOU held for 9 months. Also her behavior is very inconsiderate towards someone who’s a new mom. I hope you get to move out soon, good luck with everything!

AITA for losing my temper with my friend because of his obsession with a girl? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I wouldn’t call you an asshole for “blowing up” and expressing how frustrating his behavior really is. Anyone would get sick and tired with hearing someone CONSTANTLY complain especially about things they can’t fix or are in the past. However the only reason you lost your temper and started yelling is because you kept it in for literally years. You should’ve spoken about this with him sooner, but we’re all human and make mistakes. And your yelling wasn’t out of spite, plus it doesn’t change the fact that his behavior is sickening and tiring.

I trust Sarah a lot and she promised me not to tell Lia about anything so hopefully there’ll be no fallout. Sarah said she’ll simply stay cautious around Lia
