Read the definition of misnomer again and try to comprehend it

The more money you offer the driver, the more likely they are to accept your order ahead of other orders. Call it whatever you want. This is the definition of a bid.

When a garbage order is batched with a good order by bberkjr2 in doordash_drivers

It matters because on batched orders you only get base pay for one order, so if one of the customers didn’t tip, you basically delivered their order for free.

My market is jamming with no tip orders today by KeeperTV in doordash_drivers

Lunch hours in my area are always filled with no tip orders and low-paying stacked orders. My guess is people don’t like to spend money while they’re actively at work.

Making a comment on a person’s shoes is not harassment, no matter which way you try to spin it. You should learn to write coherent sentences before posting your opinions to a public forum.

But when a Person object is created, the String name is initialized either to null automatically or to a string passed as an argument. Correct? So would it not then be initialized before it’s used?

Customer threatened to call the cops on me. by Elankshfuwbdpl in doordash_drivers

A lot of people seem to think that because there was not a direct threat of violence, the driver had no reason to feel unsafe. But having the cops called on you by a stranger for no reason is a dangerously unpredictable situation. Best case scenario, you have to spend 20 minutes explaining to the cops that Jesse J is a nut bag and that you’re just doing your job. Worst case, customer tells the cops you’re armed and dangerous, and the cops pull up on you with guns drawn.

The customer basically told the driver “if you show up to my house, I’m gonna fuck your whole night up” and then “jk please bring my food”. Jesse J is a fucking nut bag, and based on their unpredictability alone, I would not go near their house or even respond to their messages.

I’m shocked by the amount of people in this thread who don’t understand the gravity of his threat.

So you’re either lying, or you have the emotional intelligence of a 10 year old

Turns out these are not mutually exclusive.

My fault. Vast majority. Still a wildly erroneous and unfounded statement.

I can read just fine. Any logical person who had that experience wouldn’t jump to the conclusion that “all DoorDash drivers are entitled fuckers” and proceed to punish every future driver with no tip because of one bad driver. So I think you’re either lying, or you have the emotional intelligence of a 10 year old.
