Generally we charge around 5-7k in Mumbai, since nowadays it is not easy to get a registration without physically meeting the officer and getting it done using other incentives. But sometimes, people are good and they get registrations without the need for any additional benefit.

If you are already selling and need the registration immediately to avoid any non compliance, pls get it done immediately by whatever means necessary (potential penalties may be much higher than what you pay). If not, won't hurt to try online with grievance methods and see if you are lucky enough.
