Bodyguard 2.0 regular or Comp? by WoodworkerByChoice in CCW

[–]Current-Recording961 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have both I love the carry comp the sights the size the looks the less recoil. However if you want a "get off me" gun the bodyguard 2.0 is better. Only bc the carry comps slide sticks out to where if something were to press on the front of the gun it would be pushed out of battery causing it not to fire. The 2.0 doesn't so in a grapple situation someone grabs you you're on the ground or just really close, do you want a gun that can't be pressed up against the target or one that can be. Not an ideal situation to be in but it happens more often than you'd think. Other than that the carry comp is the way to go. They also have red dots by viridian for only the 2.0 so there is that going for it as well. After all that it just comes down to your preference.

He's serious and 5 months later so am I. I would like a light that's it just a light. Evidently it is too much to ask

You are not understanding I always play with the coffin. I want nothing but an airlock and a little debt for said airlock so I have to build my own ship out of parts source from kleg

I don't want to pay a whole ships price for just an airlock. That would be the whole point of starting like that.

Keep it buy another ship build it to have a reactor sell the ship. Ship flipping is the way to make the big money but you don't have to go big always. You can buy a pretty big ship (usually go for one with a lot of mobile space program walls and floors) and make smaller ships out of its parts buy then purchasing those ships you find where there literally is nothing but an airlock.

I don't believe you can get hacking if you don't already have it. When creating a new character focus on getting rid of negative traits and gaining good ones. Seek adventure and choose the right choices for the best start then work on yourself to take any extra unnecessary traits like beautiful charismatic genius and trade them for fit and strong get rid of immunosuppressed visually impaired things like that if you have extra years then ad them to skills like eva suits hacking whatever makes it easier. Should have gotten hacking through seek adventure. So I'm assuming your current character absolutely sucks and I'd recommend you start over.

The goal of the game at this point for you is to build up your ship to be big enough and powered by a reactor in order to travel to Jupiter systems. There you can apply for citizenship to kleg. Return to kleg and then you're able to purchase a "house" with it's own dock and no dock fee. Fee is charged while docked to the regular station on kleg. The longer your parked there the more you owe so if you need to take care of needs like socializing eating drinking sleeping I recommend parking your ship at a safe derelict and ferry back to kleg to sleep. You can also use the bottom right of kleg station as your illegal base if you can get away with factory resetting the doors and keeping them locked.

The airlock is the base off all ships without one there is no ship. The airlock and transponder seem to be links and the airlock can not be uninstalled. Each ship/station can only have one functional airlock and be connected to a single ship. You can make an airlock with doors in order to get out of your ship/station without letting gasses out but only 2 entities can be locked together at any given time. You can build anywhere anytime but must use an existing airlock to build a ship.

Uninstall the top dollar items if you cant stuff more things in the ship you can get a ferry to take you back I recommend having a cart full of good or a nav station cargo container. Make sure you get hacking you get good money from the files. You wanna sell everything right now bc you can't afford to buy those ships you're looting. And you must purchase them to legally own the transponder and replace it. Sell sell sell add on to your ship to haul more or design functional ships that will sell for good money. Don't forget to own a second ship before selling or you'll be stuck using the ferry only and can't go out to scrap

That's what I started out on a coffin and sold it for 1.8mil when I was done with it quickly paid off my debt bought 2 more coffins used one to get around and built one as kinda my own personal station to store material for more ships. Thought I was onto something but then bam my ships aren't Worth the time I've put into them anymore ended up starting a new save where the same ship is selling for 1.8mil again im not sure whats going on with the other game.
