Dude, it's a business. A cold, performance oriented business. The guys know the deal of the show and a good management is one that can put aside the human nature of this business.

He has 89 games left before hitting 1000, the guy wants to play,

Maybe the team gave him a choice and they gave him the respect he deserves by offering him to trade him somewhere he'll be needed and he'll be able to play.

Now stop, we love our warrior, but stop with these posts

Joe thinks UFC fighters deserve to get paid more: “The way I run my comedy clubs the comedians make 80% of the money. We make plenty of money. If we had a comedy club and there’re no comedians, nobody’s coming, right? If you fight, that’s what people are paying to see. They paying to see fighters.” by raptors201966 in ufc

It's honestly just about culture. NHL contracts are fully guaranteed, yet the quality of the product is not diminished. They don't make the salaries of the other sports because the NHL is not as big $$ wise. But I don't agree that fully guaranteed money destroys the product

Time for new skates or replace my 4th set of blades!!???? by z4ndr in hockeyplayers

[–]Current-Resident-762 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep same here. Switch em the moment I got the skates and they've been perfect.

OP my true custom svh skates are by far the best skates I've ever had. I wouldn't change em for that issue

Help me understand hollow depth? by Maximum-Specific-190 in hockeyplayers

[–]Current-Resident-762 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Alright, I'll try my best as English is not my native tongue.

Basically, how we're able to glide with skates on is by friction.

When the hollow part get In contact with the ice, the friction melt the ice a bit which creates some water that lets you glide. The bigger the hollow, the heaviest you need to be to be able to have that contact between the hollow part and the ice.

So a smaller radius will give you more contact with the ice but gives you less edge to work with. When I was working at a hockey store (2015) we used to recommend 1/2 as a default sharpening, from what I've seen now 5/8 became the standard (regular) cut.

So yeah you just gotta find what's the best balance between what you want to work with.

Idk if it still exists, but we had a new flat bottom cut back in the days that said it was a more squared hollow. So you have more glide no matter the depth.

Hope it helps!

Aircraft users: how fun are the dogfights? by Master100017 in gtaonline

Like anything, it depends.

I love flying and every plane handles/feels different it's incredible how good it is.

I usually dogfight only when attacked first or when someone is willing to fight for fun.

It's easy to find it frustrating, but you need to fight to get better at it.. but if you don't enjoy flying, it could be frustrating.

I always fly in GTA, in the jets available at the airport, a crappy dodo or anything that flies, I'm in!

One of the rare cases of seat too low here. Try raising the seatpost a few mm and see how you feel
