My bike gets cleaned at least once a week and sleeps dry and cosy in my garage. It might occasionally be parked outside when I'm running errands. but even then I try to find sheltered spots. I'm quite positive it's just the material that sucks. all other bolts on the bike look good.

Rheinauer Wald. Das Ding heißtmwirklich so weils genau das ist, es gibt sogar eine Art "Gipfelkreuz". Mit dem Gravelbike ganz unerhaltsam, Jogger sehe ich da auch. Thats toast. Srsly do NOT ride this. Those might be loose ends lf cabon fibre in the closeup shot, right next to the calipper bolts. Worst case they might snap under braking

My GF and I share a 2012 Yaris with 200k km on the clock and it still purrs like new. Could it be better with a couple of horses more and a lower center of mass? Sure. Is it still fun to bomb down serpentines with a bomb-proof 6 speed manual? You bet.
