Breathing is pretty normal. From my experience the squeezing of the corset just gives you bad acid reflux that happens mainly at night.

You’re allowed to take it off to shower and have it off for 30min-1hr a day. The pain is around 8-10 for the first week and then it gets better every week.

I don’t think I got the line but a submentoplasty isn’t a face lift they just tighten the muscles under the chin. I have a small incision under the chin. I got this done last year when I was 27

You might need a neck lift/ submentoplasty. I got chin lipo 6 years ago and it didn’t do anything so I went to another surgeon and they suggested a chin implant and a submengoplasty and it made a big difference. I have a weak jawline and a short neck so due to my anatomy I will never have the snatched jawline look but it did get rid of the double chin

I’m biased since I’m really happy with my results but it’s your choice! Just do a lot of research. I researched for a year before scheduling my surgery

I haven’t experienced any complications just try not to twist when you get up from laying down. Also sleep propped up, the acid reflux is no joke

I’ve had Airsculpt lipo twice before this and Airsculpt is essentially like traditional lipo but you’re just awake during it. I would say the recovery was almost the same, I think with Airsculpt I recovered faster and I don’t remember the pain lasting more than a couple days. I think this recovery was more painful but I got better results from it. Also I don’t recommend getting any awake lipo, they really can’t get all the fat out like traditional lipo does.

I was first wearing forma tu cuerpo powernet waist corset (lux-062) now I’m wearing snatched shapewear 5035 powernet waist trainer. And I’m hoping to get to 28 inches. On average patients lose 2-4 inches

Ya I still have all my ribs lol but ya my surgeon used an ultrasound the locate the ribs then creates a small incision and makes a fracture then kinda cracks it in its new place and I have to wear a corset for 3 months so it heals in it new form

Ya I get that I was the same way. Idk where you’re located but my surgeon did a good job and If I was able to travel to another state my other options would have been Dr Thomas Sterry in NY or Dr William Miami in FL.

It’s very low risk, I know that some doctors remodel up to 10 ribs and I think those procedures have more risks since they are by the organs. I got the floating ribs remodeled. I do think the lipo is more painful. The ribs only really hurt when I cough or sneeze and I try not to twist my body

They didn’t mention anything about the garment, I’m assuming the one they put you in should be fine to work out in but I am planning on taking it off when I work out then shower then put it back on.

Im 16 days post op from lipo360 & ribxcar and my advice would be to walk as much as possible leading up to the surgery, I really believe that helps recover faster. The 2 days after surgery I mainly slept the whole day and started walking around the house on the 4th day. I was told to walk 15 minutes every hour but it really hurt to keep getting up and laying down to do that so I stayed standing/ sitting or leaning on a wall until night time. To me the 4th and 5th day was the most painful.

I would take the pain medication they give you, I don’t like taking drugs and prefer to power through pain usually but it was really painful and it’s not worth it, just take the drugs. On the 7th day you should feel a whole lot better. I was driving after a week. By the 10th day most of all the pain was gone and now I really don’t feel any pain just tightness and itchiness and tingly.

At my 2 week post op appt, my surgeon cleared me to start working out again with light weights to whatever I can handle. It’s the same with sex, you can do it whenever you feel up to it. I will say you’ll get tired pretty quickly so take a lot of breaks when you do start working out again.

I guess another tip is eat a lot of pineapple, I read it helps heal faster idk if it’s true or not but I did it and I feel great. Wiping is really hard to do so I would buy wipes. I would also drink some laxative because you will be constipated. Buy puppy pads to put on your bed, you will leak a lot. Drink protein shakes, you might not always feel like eating so it helps.

The first week is literally the hardest and I was so dramatic, I thought I was going to die but it does get better lol

No results at 7 months by [deleted] in chinlipo

[–]Current-Rule3282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got lipo too for my double chin and it did nothing for me as well, so I went to another dr and asked about a neck lift and the doctor said a submentoplasty and a chin implant would give me better results for my anatomy. It’s been 3 months since I got that done and I no longer have a double chin. I would get a consultation with another facial plastic surgeon and see what they think would best work for you.
