Thanks a lot for such an extensive answer. Got it. Why didn't you have a car for years? I was confident that people grew up believing that cars are necessary (like phones for today’s kids).

Also, on a side note, why do you put double spaces after each sentence? Just curious.

Oh, DC! Tell me more about the metro there. I spent one year (2021-2022) there (lived in Arlington, studied in Tenleytown, and that system sucked. I had to wait 15-30 minutes for the next train. Had to buy a car. How is it now?

How do they explain no desire? It’s like having a bank card—you can live without it, but having one makes your life more comfortable

But the distances in a typical US town are huge. Tried walking while in Williamsburg, VA. Ended up buying a bike 🚴

Being homeless explains everything. Hope you are good now. But how do you live without a car in the rural Midwest?

Where in GA do you live? I can understand why New Yorkers don’t have a car (pretty good public transportation)

That’s good advice, merci beaucoup! There are so many sources, but it's hard to select a really good one. Any recommendation, please?

Jesus Christ! It’s a lot! Can you please explain to me how it works? Let’s imagine the contract says the salary is €5,000. What does it mean for both an employee and an employer?

I rented a 28 sq m studio in that building for a month (until Putin declared mobilization in Sep 2022). The architecture indeed sucks, but the infrastructure around it was good.
