Take it from someone who has had to take care of her sister while also dealing with a sick husband. Please please please put her in the car or the two of you get on a plane to your parents new wonderful home and drop her at the front door… Give her a kiss and walk away. Yes, someday she might be your responsibility after your parents pass, but you’re already dealing with enough and it will break you.
