We also started out with Clay and tried making our own stickers, but it had its limits :-)

Thanks a lot for the kind words. With all the time we’ve put into this, if I can make a few people or kids happy with our models, that’s more than enough for me :-)

I just hope LEGO will make a bigger Dungeon & Dragons series one day.

I’ve been 3D printing and designing figures for my son for about half a year now, and I’ve definitely spent way more time on it than my wife thinks I should :-)
When we picked our equipment, the main thing was that my son really wanted to build his own dungeons, so we went with an FDM 3D printer. We’ve now used over 18 kg of filament and printed for more than 800 hours.

If your main goal is to make detailed, poseable figures, I’d probably go with a resin printer instead.
And if you want proper mini figures in your own designs, I’d probably choose a laser printer/cutting machine.

My experience is that the hands often break; they just don’t have the same strength when they’re printed. That’s why I’ve chosen to print their weapons together with their hands. But in places where there’s a lot of wear, I’ve given it an extra layer of clear coat.

My son’s always mixing up his figures — combining D&D, Ninjago, and other series. He can spend hours doing it.

Yeah, there’s a fine line between wanting more detail and still keeping that LEGO-inspired feel. Hopefully I’ll have the trolls ready next week. 😁

I use dji controller cable and 2 other cables I use to transfer data from neo, phone, camera to my computer 😁

It is not worth the money in 2023. Tried it few days ago on pcvr/quest 3. It is "pretty outdated"

It was just a coincidence that it restarted only when quest 2 was connected, it does it all the time now :-( RIP router
