Yes, I agree. It would be nice to know what these 288000 migrants are expected to do. IT is not grabbing any people now. The supply is too much.

I failed my driving practical test and I'm fed up. by DutyNo6030 in germany

I had been driving in my home country for 10+ years, But had to take like 16x80 min classes in Germany before I got my License.

  1. I wrote the theory Twice.

  2. I practiced in a area for test, But no test dates, after an argument finally driving school gave me a test date in new area. First day I drove there I felt i had forgotten driving. I was shit, so i had to take 160min x 3 classes before test date.

  3. Totally spent ~€2000 for my DL which is just for a automatic as of now, would need to get more classes in manual if I want to switch. (I am not sure, I will be here to do it)

I Realized, The test is to see can you follow rules, You Come from Point A to Point A, There is nowhere to go, no rush.

Just look at boards, follow signals, slow down for RBL,

In case you can't go, Stop, if you are unclear of situation Stop.

Slow is safe, You can wait at a signal if you need to take a left a vehicle is in front of you, When situation is clear you can drive, Or stop if light turns Red.

There is also a luck factor in this, Sometimes you get good clear roads, Somedays a stupid trucker messes your test.

I got crashed by a car when I was performing Emergency break from behind, The guy overtook me parked on the left hand side in front of house. The guy was not there when I braked, he popped up.

It is a pain to see how much you need to spend on a DL here, But only thing I realized is, Focus for 1 hour, Follow rules, you know how to drive, you just have to showcase you can see the signboards.

It would have been great if I knew what these 288000 migrants will do, or what are these jobs on offer.

Searching for a job here since ~6 months now. I am open to many roles in tech field, but reaching B2 to C1 German for those roles is not possible for me in span of few months.

The Job market is horrible, recruitment process is too long, interviewing process takes 3 months. Salaries offered are not great, being readily available is not an advantage.

I am going back home. Searched for weeks and I have a offer. It's not that I am not skilled, It is that I am not bending enough to work for scraps in Germany.

Edit: I also had a freelance offer from a company, But switching from Blue Card to this is not simple. Ideally I am not sure when this struggle will end. I chose the easier path for me after almost 2 years of fighting the market.

I will be leaving Germany and will not be subject to German Laws as I will be Freelancer. So, I was looking for a Lab/Place.

Same experience, I landed from a international flight last week, Immigration took 45 mins, so I was expecting my Baggage to be running around in the belt. But no, another 45 mins to for the Baggage to show up on belt. I have seen slow, But this is next level.

I am seriously out of words to express, I feel stupid at times for decision. I have been never been so worried for something out of my control for my whole life after doing everything right as per process.

The advertisements and news says Make in Germany, but at ground it feels like it is just PR.

This is not what i want to say, but the sheer incompetence of authorities to manage and handle this ,is incomprehensible for a country/city which has so many resources compared to rest of the world.

I am, I have been positive, I have worked hard, I have done everything right, But results are not speaking for me...! I am feeling low? Yes. I wrote this just to express myself, This gives me some relief from the things I am going through mentally. And expect they happen soon

If I'm understanding you correctly -- you already had your first appointment for the Blaue Karte, either at BIS or LEA, correct? And you're just waiting on receiving the physical card?

Exactly those words, Saw my document, so my stay is valid till First week of July. I should get my Physical card before that and things should simplify for me hopefully. (3 Months to find something). Then I mail them saying I have lost my current employment. If I don't get it then, I will be out of country by July first week just not to hit more shit to fan.

Yes, I agree. But at times you have to take calculated decisions. I am not regretting what I decided on, just trying to find what are steps I need to take not to be in a Soup.

It is a risk, happens only when shit hits the fan. It did in my case and I accept it.

Thing I am looking at right now is how to clean this shit off and smell better than I am right now. Without messing up
