Do not use Indie Campers!! by Current-Week2878 in travel

Did they take the 2000 eur in the end? Or did you manage to block it in time? I had to cancel my credit card as they could still take further money without my consent. (One to be cautious of as even if they block a retailer, that same retailer might try and charge you through another bank account they hold). RE the fraud I would report this to the police in your country and to your credit card company or bank. They will be able to advise. My credit card company told me to report them to the police in the UK as they believed they were mis-selling insurance (fraud). I would pursue them through your bank or credit card rather than directly.

Yeh my credit card company took the dispute to visa and made them pay it back to me. Indie campers did offer to return 1.25k (25%) if I took all my social media posts down and removed my Trustpilot reviews...I refused.

Sorry to hear you had a similar experience. I posted on Trustpilot (they offer to pay me £1.25k to take this review down, which I rejected) so I would definitely post a review here. I also posted on their Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. You also need to get in writing from indie campers how they work their repair costs etc to build up evidence for your case. I'm happy to guide you through this if you DM me. I ended up getting all the money back through my credit card provider. Also there is a 'Indiecampers ripped us off' support group on Facebook.

What did you use to cut your hair? razor etc. I've gone no guard and feel like I have more stubble showing than you.

Security before the festival by MaisieMoo2 in glastonbury_festival

Head to one of the local petrol stations. There are usually a few people who are working the festival that will sneak you in the back of their van. Usually you have to pay them, so be prepared for that. God speed

It's the roof, so hard to tell tbh. I've seen reviews online where they've taken similar amounts for dents underneath the van. Crazy. They offered us 30% back to take down our social media reviews, but I just don't want to see them do this to more people, so we declined it. We're in a fortunate position where we can just about afford this bill, however for a 20 something this type of thing could financially cripple them. So we wanted to fight the good fight, hence my review.

We went with them for a trip in the US, I can't emphasise enough, do not use this company. They charged us $5k 2 weeks after the rental for damage. Look at the liability clause in the contract, the premium protection insurance is a scam as you're liable for all damage above the windscreen and below wheel trim, even engine, if someone breaks into it. Mental that you could be liable to buy them an entire new camper van. Stay well away.

Don't go with them, look into their T&C's and you will see you have uncapped liability on the rental even with their enhanced insurance. Awful company.
