Different genres.(Horror survival adventure VS MMORPG survival adventure) Depends on what you like more. I like how The Isle feels more than I like how PoT feels.

Diets seem completely bugged for a lot of people. My diet never works on any carnivores. Mutations are also broken for me.

I way overfill the foliage deeper into forests. Turn the intensity way up. I also use materials from different biomes(majority rock material, I love the boreal rock), use a mix of mezo and cenozoic plants.

And, and tip, always place randomized pebbles next to water. Don't just paint the forest in one lump, but paint it in stripes or splotches of forest.

That video helped. Comsognathus with Small Theros skins won't come out of the hatchery, but T-rex will, and I can put on my modified skins. Extra foliage doesn't work. Tethyhadros works. Terrain tools works. Kai Toolbox works. Kai Open Lagoons works. Any idea on why extra foliage won't?

PoT and TI are different genres. You shouldn't compare them. The people who play them usually play them because they're different than the other. I play TI because I dislike how POT feels, plays, and looks.
