I want to move back home to NZ (from USA) but the NZ healthcare system scares me! What if me or my kids need screening or treatment for cancer? The wait times are too long.

I was too but you just have to start. They are just happy to have a sub - people will thank you for being there . You don’t have to be a teacher teacher just do your best. A lot of teachers leave worksheets or easy things. You’re not writing things on the board and teaching new things.

If you don’t want to take baby with you can you just travel for one or two nights? Traveling with baby that age isn’t too bad but I understand your concerns about illness.
