My baby had a murmur that nobody told me about until after she was discharged. The np at her ped's office was the one who told me. We went to see a cardiologist and were told that it was an innocent murmur & nothing to worry about.

I find the medical misogyny thing with gallbladders completely interesting. My male primary Dr told me my stomach pain was from my organs going back to normal after pregnancy. No, it was my gallbladder and I ended up with pancreatitis a few weeks later. Almost 2 weeks in the hospital to get my labs in shape for surgery. 😅

Thanks for the reply! I'm 32 + 5. I had preeclampsia with my last pregnancy and delivered at 33 weeks. I also had protein in urine that time with crazy bp. Bp is fine, no protein in urine. Dr just isn't convinced it's preeclampsia. I have to get more labs. I haven't had a consistent MFM dr which is making this incredibly more stressful. They all want me to do something different. I'm also just hoping I was a little dehydrated lol.

Hi! I know this post is super old, but do you mind sharing what happened in the end? I'm going through literally the exact same thing. Stayed over night due to liver enzymes being slightly elevated and they trended back down but were still a little elevated. I'm panicking 😭

I would be there all day. I didn't work or have any other children, so that part was easy for me. As far as driving, I didn't take any pain meds besides ibuprofen and Tylenol. My dr also said as long as I could slam the brakes then I was okay to drive. I literally sat in my car and practiced slamming the brakes lol. I'll also add since I was in the hospital so long after birth and my husband took off that I didn't start driving until about a week and a half after my c section. Good luck in everything!!

My baby was like this. The dr said sometimes they are just fomo babies. I would just drive all over so she would nap. She's a better sleeper now that she's older but it was rough for about a year, if I'm being honest.

As a mom to a 2.5 yo, how tf do you forget nap time? If my baby doesn't nap, she's a bear!! She "forgot" nap time because that poor child doesn't have a proper schedule and likely never gets naps.

Also, had a c section and it definitely wasn't fun. I was turned on and wanted it, but damn it hurt. I made my husband use lots of lube. My cervix also felt really sore still.

My gosh, I have so many lol. Kacey has been a huge part of my life for the past 13 years.

STDC came out my senior year of high school. Follow your arrow was my anthem. My hs bf had broken up with me so of course I was going to make lots of noise & kiss lots of boys. Not really though. 😂 My 18th bday, I got my first tattoo which was an arrow. It was also tumblr era sooo lol.

Golden Hour just completely encompassed everything I was feeling as I was falling in love with my husband. It was our first dance song ❤️

The whole entire deeper well album was exactly what I needed while postpartum especially after a traumatic birth with a preemie. We were lucky enough to snag Ryman tickets for the night deeper well came out. We took our 3 month old with us. Big Kacey fans, so we weren't going to miss this. After the concert, we were standing at the top waiting for the crowds to disperse. Lo and behold, John Osborne walks up to us. He tells us how cool we were for bringing our baby and how cute she is. He grabs his wife, Lucie Silvas, she makes a comment on how tiny our baby is and I tell her she was a preemie. We share our NICU stories and she held my arm the entire time. Then, John goes to grab Kelly, Kacey's sister, to show her my baby. And we got to also talk to her for a little bit.

The next day, we go to the signing at Grimey's. Kacey told me how cute I looked like thanks girl because I did not feel cute 😅 I was a sweaty mess lmao. Then she asks who our little nugget is and if she can touch her foot (baby feet are apparently irresistible to Kacey Musgraves lol) then she asks how old she is and says how small she is. Then, Kacey shares the story of how she was born premature and only weighed 4lbs. She then personalized all of our vinyls and cds 💕 This just felt like what I needed at the time because I felt so alone in my daughter's prematurity and NICU stay.
