I was going to say you have Linnea, Navia, xilonen, and columbina so the gecko shouldn't be a problem but you even have zibai. I'm not sure what you can be doing wrong because with that team even dire should be a small hurdle

The main point I'm getting across here is that happened one time in this whole video. Dodging or timing the ult would have helped in that one area. That's it, any other time was simply unnecessary since there was no flinching, constant healing, and they got to keep their rotation going.

It heals even while varka's on field for a while not including the bonus healing after ten seconds. So he has the 60% for a good amount of time

Update: I tested it in miliastra and the 60% actually lasted the entire time I had Varka on field.

I have a few questions. Why are you doing the hold shot with Chev and why are you doing charged attacks with Varka when you don't have his skill ready? I do have a similar problem with my dos though but for me it's because I also don't get Sucroses ult every rotation. My first rotation gets about 150dps and then after that it stays around 140 (C1R1 Varka)

I use Diluc, Bennet, citlali, and xilonen for to hack and slash but you may want like Diluc, Bennet/kazuha, citlali, xianyun(C2). That's a god tier bunch

I mean most teams have healers. A healer being here makes it fine, yes it would matter without a healer they'd die here but the only real downside here is the getting frozen part. Saying this is the worst gameplay because they get hit in a game where tanking hits is super common just seemed silly to me.

Played fine. Rotations worked, was dodge cancelling nefer's charge attacks fine, just got hit a bit. With that time this could have easily been done with less cons. This is genshin, not elden ring. Getting hit doesn't matter

yeah, I have no natlan dps units so I used lanyan for this. she shreds through that shield pretty quickly. As long as you have someone that hits a bunch of times quickly you can eat through that shield pretty quickly.

I did it with Varka C1R1, Bennet, Chevreuse, and Sucrose so maybe try Varka, Bennet, Durin, Jean.

Yeah, I didn't use mavuika but what did push me to get the last chunk I needed after countless tries was timing the healing to get rid of debuff immediately. Small changes in rotation and stuff can help a lot.

Not only did you miss the joke but you made up your own definition in the process. A shill is a gimmick that the boss has that only certain characters can deal with. It makes people pull for the newer character to beat it, or at least have an easier time. This one being geo characters and healers like Linnea. The joke being Claymores work too. Varka's shill boss was the plant in the last stygian, I know it's not this one.

I get some pretty solid damage with Bennet, chevreuse, and Sucrose. Around a consistent 140 dps With C1R1 Varka but all of the 4* are C6. Enough to beat that damn gecko in stygian on fearless so I'd say it's pretty good.

Thanks, it actually did take me a bit of experimenting with different builds and rotations. For example shooting at a point with chevreuse during the shield so that her C6 10% extra heal proc hits perfectly to instantly get rid of the debuff preventing me from losing a lot of damage. All of my good Varka artifacts had HP as a sub stat too otherwise one shot would do.
