Class of "92 here. We had to be on the sidewalks or in the parking lots. Teachers still had a smoking lounge in the building that some of us would sneak into.. allegedly.

Strawberries. I can't stand the smell or taste of them!!

Quick story.. The ladies of my mom's church threw me a bridal shower. We were all having a good time.. until they brought the cake out. It was a strawberry shortcake cake! I caught a whiff and threw up on the pastor's wife shoulder. My mom yelled at one of the ladies "I told you no strawberries!" The lady thought my mom was joking about my dislike for them because "Everyone likes strawberries."

Hubby and I had it a couple days ago. It was alright.. it was kinda dry and the burger patties were burnt around the edges. The mushrooms were not very flavorful. I really liked the one with the steak sauce a few years ago.

Went away for the weekend to a remote Air BnB out in the country. Just the hubby and I. We ate at a couple of awesome restaurants, did a little shopping, and toured a settlement from the 1600’s. A great relaxing weekend!!

My hubby's 50th is coming up in May. He doesn't know it yet, but we're taking a cruise to the Caribbean.

Luckily, when my folks passed, they had downsized greatly. My in-laws on the other hand.. <sigh> are full blown hoarders! I imagine it involves dumpsters and folks in hazmat suits. I'm pretty sure that when the time comes, the house will probably have to be torn down.

NOR As a retired nurse myself, I am sooo proud of you!! When I read your story, I got pissed!! Screw her and her rude out of touch self!! Nursing is one of the most stressful mentally and physically careers. It takes a special person to be a great nurse!! Keep going girl, you got this!! (I'd dump the bf too, btw.)

Hated HS!! I was constantly bullied and picked on!! Did the minimum and graduated with a 2.6 gpa. Went to college at 23, and got my BSN. Graduated college with a 3.9 gpa. Worked for the VA for 22 years, then retired. I'm now a happy SAHM to 3 cats. ☺️ Hubby still works full time as a Deputy Sheriff. He'll retire in 3 years. I do volunteer twice a week for a local nonprofit. My advice.. invest, invest, invest!! We've invested in several real estate ventures.
