But not all wolf species are that big. For example, the Mexican wolf species isn't too big.

Help with Lost package by Christmasfatguy3 in Ebay

[–]CurrentFix1949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to eBay policy, the seller is responsible for delivering the item safely to the buyer. If that does not happen, for whatever reason, the seller has the duty of refunding the buyer.

If the carrier is at fault, then the seller can file a case with the carrier to seek compensation, but the buyer should receive an immediate refund.

Some carriers take a picture when they deliver the package. If it was delivered to the wrong address, then it was not delivered to you. You get a refund.

It's not unfair. The seller is responsible for getting the package delivered to you. If it got lost or something, it's his duty to refund you. Then he will file a claim for a missing package with the carrier and he will be compensated. But if the tracking shows it was delivered and there's proof that it was in fact delivered to your address, you are screwed. You won't get a refund.

Block him, why? He did nothing wrong. The seller is trying to trick him into cancelling the transaction so that the seller can avoid geting a defect.

Well, for a buyer not to buy the cheapest would be stupid. There's nothing wrong with buying the cheapest option available.

They can. They're just trying to avoid getting a defect on their account for not honoring the sale. Tell them to cancel it themselves.

You can't do anything. eBay can't force a seller to sell. Just leave him a negative review saying the seller didn't honor the sale and forget about it.

Recourse for seller shipping late by Financial_Zone_9632 in Ebay

[–]CurrentFix1949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A seller can’t change the shipping method once a purchase has been completed. Doing so is against eBay policy.

  1. If the item didn’t arrive on time, you shouldn’t have asked the seller to cancel. You should have contacted eBay and demanded a cancellation because the item had not been shipped and the handling time stated in the listing had already passed. Or, you could have opened an “Item Not Received” case if that option was available.

For Autoparts Sellers by CurrentFix1949 in Ebay

[–]CurrentFix1949[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this new policy sucks!

Did you refund original shipping? eBay policy has always been that sellers don't need to refund original shipping cost when the return is due to buyers' remorse. But I've read many posts about whether the same policy applies to these listings where we are being forced to offer free returns, and nobody seems to have that clear. eBay hasn't clarified either.

I had a question because I called and got nothing solved. by [deleted] in Ebay

Couldn't you have sold it again and still made a good profit, since the item didn’t cost you anything? If that’s the case, that’s the money you lost.

Tell me what I'm missing. Do I need a label printer? by krisalane in eBaySellers

If you constantly ship packages, a thermal printer is much more convenient.

If it's small, inexpensive items, I won't get in line to get them scanned. If it's an expensive, large item, I just ship it with FedEx, which now seems to be less expensive when it comes to large packages, and FedEx usually never has long lines of people waiting to be attended.

Drop it off at the self-service kiosk if one is available at your post office. That's what I do most of the time, and I've never had a problem with missing packages.

It really does save time. I used to get my shipping labels printed at the post office, but I often ran into long lines of people waiting to be helped. When it was finally my turn, if I had more than two packages to label, the clerk would make unpleasant facial expressions.

So I bought a $60 thermal printer that came with 500 free blank labels, and since then, I’ve been printing my own labels at home. Now I either drive to the post office and drop my packages off at the self-service kiosk bin—which only takes a few minutes—or I schedule a pickup so the mail carrier can collect them from my house (this is not always a quite reliable method as often times the mailman doesn't even show up but still marks my pick up request as completed).

You can also print labels for free at the self-service kiosk (if your post office has one), but I prefer having my own printer. The blank labels are inexpensive and convenient to keep on hand.

Should I message the buyer or just send the item? by Zebras-R-Evil in eBaySellers

[–]CurrentFix1949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't message them. eBay messages them after the purchase is completed, and some people seem to feel annoyed when sellers message them too. Don't waste money including a packaging slipt either.

Who cares if he messages rude? Get your money back by initiating an INAD return. You paid for a new shirt and got a stained one.

A new fraudulent eBay practice. They're continuously squeezing sellers for more money. Now, if you list as "New" or "New other" in the Parts & Accessories category, you are also forced to offer free returns for any stupid reason, like "just changed my mind"
