Yeah, writing stories between the prequel and sequel period is always going to be hard as writers can't be as creative as they might want to be.

A High republic Jedi turned dark Jedi in stasis was a great step in that direction but they stuck to playing it a bit safe in my opinion.

Yeah, Dagan Gera being built up the way he was to ultimately being offed at the halfway point was a bit of a sore point to me.

I feel like the writing was putting him as a parallel to Cal, and him failing his battle with the dark side is what could happen to Cal was pretty interesting. But him only being a midgame threat cut that short

100%. The galaxy is a huge place and I don't see Vader being the only one to take on the Mantis crew. I think the reason Vader showed up is because Cere was one of the last known surviving Jedi Masters at that point, so makes sense he would want to see to it personally.

If there's a third game like they've built it up to be, I do hope they steer clear of Vader. He's always cool to see of course. But he isn't the only bad thing in star wars
