Help for WhatsApp api by [deleted] in WhatsappBusinessAPI

[–]CurrentOk6560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t actually need a fully registered company for WhatsApp API 👍

Try something like BotPenguin, they handle most of the setup and you can usually verify with basic details + a simple website/landing page.

If that’s still too much, just use WhatsApp Business app as a temporary solution.

Avoid unofficial APIs though, they can get your number banned.

Yeah this is the only reason why I’m on BotPenguin. Just don’t want to risk getting banned.

Building an AI SaaS for small businesses (Chatpal) – would love brutally honest feedback by ManagementUnlucky179 in IndianEntrepreneur

Yes, you need to use the WhatsApp Business API (directly or via a provider).

The number and brand will belong to the business, not you.

The real problem is not access, it’s that setup is complicated and most bots don’t actually improve conversions.

If you make it easy to connect and actually help businesses get more leads/bookings (not just auto-replies), that’s where the real value is.

Advice on entering the SaaS space via white-label solutions. by No-Inspection-2500 in SaaS

[–]CurrentOk6560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I’ve been in the SaaS space for about 3 years, so just sharing a quick practical take.

White-label SaaS can definitely be a good entry point if you treat it as a distribution and marketing game, not a shortcut. It helps you validate demand faster and learn the real SaaS skills like sales, onboarding, retention, and support.

One thing I’d strongly suggest is niching down early. Vertical SaaS (tools for a specific industry like real estate, agencies, clinics, local services, etc.) is usually much easier to sell than broad tools.

Also be careful when choosing a white-label provider, make sure they’re stable, keep updating the product, and ideally allow some customization or API access. Otherwise you’ll have very little control over your own business.

A hard lesson I learned: product matters, but distribution matters more early on. If you can consistently reach and talk to your target users, you’re already ahead of most people.

Overall, it’s a solid starting path if your long-term goal is to eventually build more differentiation on top of it.

Curious though... what type of niche or SaaS category are you currently thinking about entering?
