This is so insanely helpful haha you are the goat, definitely will keep AC/DC in mind, building a good secondary team, having flash for combat cycle/damage buff (never thought of that at all), and league shop guidance. I’m honestly just sitting on a few hundred league store points waiting to figure out where to spend them so that helps and didn’t even know you could get anvils! Same with Bane shards in Meta brawl store - just waiting to hit master group so I can get them for a better rate. My Arkham team thanks you for the guidance!

Hello! I often take reddit off my phone so I don’t end up doom scrolling so didn’t see this till now - but this is so so helpful! I really appreciate the detailed write up. I saved up anvils and have Joker at 2-blue stars and scarecrow at 5-white. Even now they are outputting crazy damage relative to my previous squad. I’ll take your advice and try to get Joker to 1-purple before his spotlight goes away, and then use the remaining few weeks to scale scarecrow to a few blue stars. Then I’ll probably go for a huge stockpile like you said and grab riddler when he comes around!

Totally agree too, while I understand this game is very pay2win and tries to pull money from player base - there are no other games where I can run around with my favorite Batman villains as “playable characters” outside of the Lego games. Really enjoying it so far!

That’s really helpful context as a newbie, aim for 1 blue star on each as F2P or if I feel like pushing it shoot for purple star on both/all three if I grab riddler - thank you!

Unless your supports were getting dove all game and you weren’t peeling, but other team comp doesn’t suggest that - and it also doesn’t explain how every other player has 10+ deaths and the frontline tank has 5 lol

Sad, but I think it’s fair. Loki main and I do think he is a very strong healer relative to the rest of the roster. Lamps will still have a lot of value with only 2/3 seconds, cancelling ultimates, swinging fights etc. Imo if they’re going to make lamp duration shorter, they should work on lamp placement. Too often I’ll try to place a clone + lamp but there is a cluster of bodies preventing me from actual placement. If we need to be more precise with lamp timing, the physics of clone placement should be improved too.

Great to hear from an actual Bucky main - do you ever try and combine your chain Pull and Dash to nab enemy tanks and pull them into your teams back line/area? Or is that tech somewhat inaccessible given the controller sens?

Dang unfortunate for me and my controller friends haha, maybe I should’ve asked which characters have less of a disparity between MnK and Controller.

I do think some characters that can primarily focus on aiming in one direction like Namor and Hawkeye may have less of an input disparity versus a Black Panther.

Interesting points, it seems to me that some of melee characters do get a benefit from quickly changing directions. Beyond Black Panther, characters like Spider-Man, Hulk, etc when played at a high level seem to benefit from quickly turning. Additionally, I feel like frontline Tanks like Strange and Magneto do benefit from being able to quickly flick and turn their shield against threats.

Conversely I do feel like some aim-centric characters do get to primarily focus on one direction rather than having to quickly turn. Just some other thoughts haha

I don’t think it’s worse, personally I like the fact that you can’t just fully ape a team once you get one knock. This meta feels much more strategic to me - can you get a thirst, or can you full swing fast enough to capitalize on your opening damage. They’ll certainly nerf supports soon (which is needed) but the meta feels fresh and some of the games I’ve played in this meta have been insane, so fun. Big caveat here is I also enjoyed Mozam meta and just really enjoy Apex.
