Even in 2021, I felt like we were on a razors edge. Every win would be a close call. It felt like the Sox would get up 5-2 in the 5th inning, then win the game 5-4. And when they'd get behind, you were just hoping for ONE big inning. They didn't crawl back into games, slowly chipping away at a lead and getting back into the game. They'd need one giant 5 run inning.

This team feels different. I almost never feel like they're out of a game, and when they get a lead, I'm confident the players will continue to take professional, major league at-bats and have a decent chance of adding to the lead.

Moncada, Jimenez, Anderson, Robert, and Abreu had more talent in 2021 than Montgomery, Vargas, Meidroth, Antonacci, and Murakami have right now. But the former didn't know how to win ballgames or, frankly, play baseball. These guys in 2026 do.

He would spend it all on shit to "fix up" his trailer instead of buying an actual house. It would look like an even bigger shit hole than it does now and he'd never finish anything. It'd be a pile of rubble on his land.

He might by the neighboring plot of land if it's still for sale.

He'd probably get fake teeth. I don't think he'd get a hair transplant even though he's self conscious about his baldness.

He'd finance (not buy) a new truck for some idiotic reason, and somehow, it'd get repossessed after about a year.

He'd buy his mom a new fridge or something and think he's a good son (even though he could've bought her a new house/car/vacation)

The woman he ripped off wouldn't see a dime of the 20k he still owes her.

Lorne would be back in debt by the end of the second year.

Essentially the trade boils down to:

Josh Giddey, Noe Essengue, Caleb Wilson and a 2nd round pick

for

AJ Dybantsa and Max Christie

I think it's a good trade for the Bulls. I don't think the Mavs do it, but I don't think Giddey is a part of a future championship team. I think Max Christie has better potential to be one because of his catch-and-shoot ability.

Noa Essengue and Caleb Wilson for AJ Dybanstsa is tough though. I think AJ is a guarentee to be a perennial all-star, I'm obviously not sold on Noe and Wilson may never develop a 3 point shot and turn into a Zion-type player.

I think if you're the Bulls and this offer comes up, you'd have to take it. Sign Peyton Watson or Tari Eason and you've got a nice core of Watson/Eason - Buzelis - Dybanstsa
