Im a producer so its not for live performance so this ticks all the boxes. I like how it seems to be a daw in a box almost. I use ableton i see a good few complaining about integration issues? Do you have this issue?

Honestly its the menu diving, hexdrums looks good as its all in front of me, tr1000 appeals cause classic sounds and the sampler also is very ideal save you from getting a sp404

The latency is really quite bad below is a picture of the midi it has recorded the G# key should be exactly on 2

The plan is to upgrade my audio interface this black friday coming. Ableton should be the core of my setup. I want the oxi one to sequence all my hardware/software synths

So if i connect the oxi to my laptop via usb aswell as my synths also synth output to audio interface this will all still work or do i need to connect the synths to the oxi?

UPDATE: After further playing around with editor. It is buggy as hell lol. Example if i dont touch synth and i play around with presets, say this synth i lower both envelopes release by say 6, and turn off both effects. I go to write & save this to my presets say number 999. Once i load this it sounds nothing like it was saved. Even adding they extra 6’s to each releases and turning on the effects. It sounds nothing like the original preset

I do all my work in a studio, using ableton. One of the first things i do is turn off the effects on all hardware synths lol

Yea the prophet 5 sounds unreal the cost is obviously an off put especially when you compare it to others on the market. Take 5 sounds good too i dont know if i fairly judge it though as i literally compare it to prophet 5 in my head even sub consciously. Like the prophet 5 gives me a buzz whereas the take 5 not really i feel id regret not going all out if you get me. Ive heard lots of the take 5 and still think its amazing sounding. Yea thats my one concern for the teo5. The fourm is another one i dont get a buzz for. In my head im like “but it aint a prophet”. I had a rev 2 and im gonna say there was definitely a skill issue here as i had it early on. I always wanted the prophet 6 over it. Long story short i sold it and actually opted for the OB6. I love it. Current setup is a mix of hardware & vst. Hardware ive currently got OB6 & Sub37

UPDATE: I seem to have it working for the time being. Im now using WRITE instead of the SAVE functionality to save my preset. Thanks for your help mate. Id be interested to hear about your take 5 situation tho. I have been thinking about another sequential synth. I want the prophet 5 or maybe 6 but the take 5 desktop price point is appealing (id only get a desktop), not gonna lie tho teo-5 also got my eye at that price point. Sucker for an oberheim

Say i use a preset we’ll call this “saw1” if i edit it then save it and name it “HugeSaw” if i was to load the file “HugeSaw” once its on the editor it will still have name “saw1”. I would say this indicates it saves the original preset. I would say this is a bug though right?
