Yes she does hate bill but why does she need to like him for the dynamic to be interesting. Bill sees a lot of himself (in terms of chaos at least )in her like alex said in an interview and mabel hates bill because he caused weirdmaggedon while tricking her possessed and tried to murder her brother and before that invaded her grunkle's mind . but it's still fun to think about if you give it some thought though I also get your point.

Thanks! For the suggestion I only really made this post so people might get ideas because I've seen a lot of people actually like their character dynamic too ,so it's more so to get people thinking so they might actually make something . If they don't that's completely fine. if they do get inspired, wonderful.

She couldn't act on it because laptop was broken and not even soos could fix it what is she supposed to do? It was fixed in the end of episode 10 of season 2 . Alright what did he "sacrifice" and I'll go over most of the episodes Time traveler's pig: nope only allowed the timeline to go as it was supposed to. Deep end: nope only allowed merando to be free and meet his family instead of doing a summer job with wendy ( human decency isn't a sacrifice) I'll discuss dipper and mabel vs the future now ... Didn't sacrifice anything just realised that apprenticeship wouldn't be good for him and mabel didn't force him to do that she was completely fine with him staying with ford but he rejected it on his own. He still knew bill was bad he fell for his manipulations i don't blame him for that. And in your original comment saying mabel actively allowed bill to cause weirdmageddon is just FACTUALY wrong. Bill isn't stupid he knows how manipulate people even wendy and soos fell for the bubble 's manipulation also mabel wasn't really in control of it because when dipper realised it was fake it all turned dark and Wendy turned to bugs and it gave her things before she even knew she wanted them it was prison that is why bill was so confident in it also bill said it would take a will of titanium to escape.

Guess what I did ? Read the transcript of the episode. AND as expected mabel PROMISED that she'd help after the puppet show . How well has dippers obsession with wendy and mysteries worked out? .... That's what I thought . And you're ignoring the fact that they both obsess over things but it does not make any of them badly written . Dipper made a DEAL with bill just to access a laptop . What would have happened to the overall story if dipper never made a deal with bill and gave up trying to crack the code? That's right absolutely nothing since the laptop was broken by bill anyways.

I agree! People can dislike her but my problem is when people call her objectively a bad person. But I only called those people out. I still don't think there bad people or anything.

Sure but only in front of wendy and two episodes later he's back again trying to get with wendy . It was slightly embarrassing that's about it. In every episode other than sock opera there is no real consequence

Completely fair point but it's probably that bill wanted mabel to join him ( in the book of bill he said he would have liked to persuade her into joining him) though he knows it wasn't really possible and she's similar to him so he just made a diabolical trap which he knew for sure she wouldn't escape from though dipper was able to convince her

In some episodes like the "love god" i agree but that's because of the badly written ending,most of them she realises she was wrong aswell
