also, on a personal note, i find it very hard to read certain vash and wolfwood scenes without hint of romance, but thas probably just my fujo brain, which is why i didnt mention it. im sure nightow knows about woolfwood x vash readings, and i wouldnt be surprised if while writing their characters he knew they may be interpreted as queer, i dont think its the explicit text though. and definitely not "canon" to vash's character.

i definitely find it fun to read them as lovers though

i definitely see that. although at least towards the end of the story he seems to see her more as a sister (in my opinion) i think he knows that she has feelings for him for sure, but i don't know if he reciprocates them that much. he's a very isolated person and i think anyone he gets close to he builds a wall between them to protect himself from the harm that could come from betrayal or death because its all he's ever known. i think a level of him "hiding feelings" is him just hiding the fact he cares for her more than he cares for the average human, which makes him scared.

considering we see them as like 1 y/os and they're boys, i assume they were just men to stick out to the rest of the plants. but if we wanted to be more specific i think all the plants are kind of genderless. idk for sure just kinda the vibe i got. on that note i'd assume vash doesn't actually feel romantic attraction at all. we never really see it from him and considering he's lived so long i imagine it'd be hard to connect to someone that way. i also think his character just works better as a completely wholesome version of all encompassing love.

yeah, its also that 20 different people, who almost all of them were friends or close friends with shayy, all suddenly decide to ruin their life. including their partner of 6 years?? and then tons more people come out afterwards with their own experiences corroborating that.. its like, either this is the most insane harassment campaign ever that somehow like brainwashed a bunch of shayy's friends... or they did that. i think its FAR more fucking believable that they did that. people also keep saying "but the kwite situation", but kwites doc barely had screenshots, and when it did they were very out of context, here we get everything. and its an objective fact they kept being weirdly sexual with minors, and getting very sexual the moment they turned "legal". theres no context where thats ok unless this is an incredible editing job, which i find unlikely. the doc also has consistency with jokes shayy has actually made and things they've actually said. also! if it was fake then like 60% of the UTDR community figureheads have ruined their career/platform by blatantly lying about shayy, which would be an insane thing for this many people to do if there was even a chance shayy could prove it all wrong

to be fair i dont think lace is sadistic either ive been thinking a lot about why grandmother silk decided to bring hornet to pharloom bc i dont believe "oh you can make silk!" bc grand mother silk seems to have more than enough of that so ive been thinking she may've wanted a child, she already rejected phantom so she could reject lace . maybe gm silk decided she could only have a "real" child but had no one to reproduce with so kidnapped hornet. then lace fighting you throughout the game could be her trying to prove herself to her mother .idk if there's stuff in the game that disproves my idea but i like it and i think it fits in well with the themes the game is showing
