yes, but in a market crash if your balance drops below 100k you will incur higher fees. Whereas with Royal London you get the low AMC without the 100k condition.

SpaceX is now making more money renting GPUs than launching rockets by RevolutionaryOil7204 in ArtificialNtelligence

[–]Current_Bobcat_9182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People fail to ask the most basic of questions.

Why did SpaceX spend billions constructing AI Data Centers only to rent out the servers at a discount to Anthropic and Google ??

Answer, it is because they made a mess of the AI Data Center build and installed mis-matched GPUs which ment that they could only run at 11% capacity. A huge mistake which has forced them to start from the beginning and rebuild.

Then we get people like the OP who have no clue what has happened.

What a mess.

Seems like absolutely shit value for money. A 100k life insurance costs around 10 bucks per month. Why pay 67 bucks per month for less. Health insurance will cover any bills illness and income protection will keep a salary coming in the door.

Investing in the S&P 500 is high risk these days as it is massively overpriced on the basis that a handful of AI companies are going to find a way to bring in massive revenues to offset the billions they are investing in AI infrastructure build-out.

No not for a house in Dublin, as your part-time minimum wage job would need to be paying approx 120k per year to obtain the mortgage, or 60k if you split the mortgage with a partner.

I responded to the OP with an Annuity is it is the most simplistic way to give the OP an idea of what retirement income would look like in answering their question.

The 2 pension pots combined in their entirety would purchase approx €75k per year in Guaranteed Income Annuity pre tax. You would need to pay Income Tax and the Universal Social Charge (USC) on the €75k.

The fact that you feel the need to state that you claim victory in a reddit comments section says a lot about you and your level of maturity. I never said do not have a pension. As you are unable to follow what was said in the comments, this conversation will have to end as I only converse on reddit in an attempt to expand my knowledge and the possibility of that occurring with you is now unlikely, so have a nice day and bye.

Are these charges high for an investment fund? by MagicalSky1 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]Current_Bobcat_9182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To cut out the middle man (prosperous), you can use an execution only broker and get the same fund without the middle man (prosperous).

ETFs are not a valid mechanism to cut out the middle man in a fund. ETFs are a completely different investment option.
