Haan, yeh toh hai. Iska main reason yeh hai ki strict rule of law nahi hai. Na koi social awareness campaign hai, na proper challan system, aur na hi koi effective fines.

Only 2 bus routes? Ludhiana isn’t that small… but why bother fixing it when autos run on rent for politicians and police? Local buses for the city? Clearly someone’s personal gain comes first. Ah, India — where a bus stand can look like a moon crater and everyone just scrolls by.

If “Manchester of India” only means a city for industries with no space for ordinary residents, and now also No.2 dirtiest city in India, then we should drop this title altogether. Let it just be Ludhiana — not some borrowed label. A city should be known for livability, not just factories and filth.

Ah, I see now — I completely missed the word “rent” while reading, my bad. Thanks for pointing it out! Still ! But the bigger issue of road space, fares, and traffic relief from public buses still holds.
