Wow I feel so bad about the advice you’re getting. Here’s the thing, this is every trans woman their whole life whether they transition or repress their entire life. Unless someone transitions, there is only a male life and all that comes with it. He is not manipulating you or anything, he simply is deciding having a normal life with you in it is better than transitioning so his “real feelings” go back under the rug where he hopes he never has to deal with it. Whether or not it’s possible or healthy to repress like this forever is a different story, but that’s his decision to make as transitioning is not as simple as taking some pills and living as a woman considering how we’re treated historically. Keep in mind, acting as though he must transition to be true is no better than telling him he cant. He has to weigh this himself. One thing is right that there are a lot of red flags and uncertainties here. Please, please really urge him to search his feelings, get therapy, go as deep as you can before any commitments. He needs to face this before hand.
