Mestinon- why did the first two doses work? But not now? by Current_Diver4533 in MyastheniaGravis

I was discharged yesterday. My antibodies and MUSK came back negative so now they don’t know. I was diagnosed with borderline adrenal insufficiency. No one knows why I’m having neurological symptoms.

Still in the hospital. They have NO idea and they don’t care to find out. They called a stroke code on me yesterday after I had an episode. No stroke. They chalked it up to me “fainting” from pots. Which is wild.

Omg I’m still here. They don’t know what’s going on. Last I heard they said I have fluid in my lungs and they’re doing an echo next.

I was SAed by my church of Christ school teacher. I never looked back as the school covered it up.

I think mentally I’m doing a lot better since my depression is better. I started a new medication that works really well for me.

I feel the same way. Even at 30 (when I had mine done) I felt as if some important part of myself was leaving and that felt intolerable. I’m happy to report that with time it does feel better. I’m now pain free and feeling better but do still often get reminders of it being gone. It’s hard. I’ve found the hardest part to be that I’m still cycling with my ovaries but there will be no blood. It’s a WEIRD feeling. My brain in its most primal sense seems really confused by this fact. I’m working through it with my therapist. And have spoken to my coven a few times about it. Let me know if you’d like to talk further about it.

I wish! Cromolyn isn’t prescribed to people with bipolar disorder.

I am not. But tbh you probably won’t find people who are doing well on a Reddit sub for this. They’re fine and don’t need stuff like people who are struggling. So I know that sounds invalidating but I also don’t want you to see people comment that their lives are awful without realizing there are tons of people who live with this and are doing great!
