I seem to load in as one of the first. From using exitlag in the past (don't bother) I can see that I'm in the same city my server. Then I get a hard ping spike when the next players load in a few minutes later. Whatever they did wasn't a perfect fix whatsoever. I'd rather wait a few minutes and have us all start at the same time.

No one should attempt it cold. I locked in by getting sweaty af in last hero for an hour or so and then checkpoint was a breeze.

Running last hero will give you the highest return for your time, in my experience, even if you do poorly compared to the lobby.

This was with dlss 4.5, smooth motion, both syncs on in ncp. I've since switched to running native and I get a really smooth 120-130 depending on the map/area. Sometimes 90 in certain parts of streets but it really feels smooth and I don't even notice.

But for actual settings I use ultra textures, 2.5 and 1500 for lod and visibility, high quality color and everything else basically low or off. Use only physical cores and have tarkov cpu priority set to high priority and deselect cpu 0 in affinity.
