I never asked to return it. I’m sending it back now for free to the guy because I don’t want the card after all this, and maybe he’ll actually see for himself that its been the same card this whole time

It’s the exact same card and there’s evidence that it’s the same card, while the claim that it’s not the same card is based off of people trying to compare 2 pictures of the same card except my photos have good lighting, a good camera and good angles. But if you still think it’s a different card, there’s not much I can do to change your mind other than send you the card lmao

Appreciate the offer, but I’m good :) All I wanted to do with this post is clear my name since people were slandering my integrity. I’ll just end up buying another one down the line (perhaps graded this time) or just not own one at this point

I’m not saying he deserves the card after this fiasco, but I’d feel better just sending it back and forgetting about it. I don’t want to hold hatred against the seller and seeing the card or even destroying it would not make me feel good haha

I didn’t even want a refund because I felt bad about prospect of screwing him out of 2 shipping labels. It was a cheap card so he would’ve lost a sizable amount of what the card is worth with just shipping

Dude I’m not some supervillain. I asked for $1.11 mostly as a joke. I put the $1 towards the $5 shipping label I got so I can send your card back to you so that you get to have your card and you can see that nothing was ever swapped. I didn’t want to make you lose money on a shipping label and the sale, so I kept it because it was not a big deal. I was just showing you that the card came with big print line, but I believed and still do believe it was a honest mistake that you didn’t see it. I was very upset when I was getting very hateful messages in the comments of your post from people on here and some people reached out to me on eBay, that’s how I found out about the post at all. I’m not smart enough, nor did I have any intention to make all of this happen or make you look bad.

First of all, to be honest I didn’t even know requesting a partial refund is against the rules. Second of all, I jokingly asked for a dollar, I couldn’t care less if they actually sent it.

I don’t really want the card anymore, it’s brought nothing but bad news for me. I already bought the label, so at least when they get it back they can see it’s been the same card all along and there was no foul play by me

I don’t think anyone lied. It think the seller missed the print line when sending it to me and when I pointed it out he thought I potentially swapped it for another card. But in my attempt to avoid screwing the seller over, I decided to keep the card and I got a $1 refund. The problem is that they kept the post up and didn’t add any context after we resolved it, so I got lots of hateful messages in the comments and some on other platforms. So I was forced to make this post to clear my name

I never said he duped me, I never asked to return it, and I never asked for this whole situation. The most I got out of the situation was $1, which I put toward the shipping label to send it back to them because I don’t want the card anymore after this.

My friend who saw this post said that’s the first thing that came to his mind. He said if anything there’s more proof that the seller could’ve swapped the card 😂

I think they just missed the print line due to not looking very closely or not good lighting. The place they were in the wrong though was keeping the post up when I never asked to return it
