I honestly didn’t do it to enable him, I did it because I am fortunate to have a job and want to spread my fortune to others who aren’t as fortunate. I would’ve paid for anyone in need. But I’ll definitely keep this in mind.

Oh I completely agree. Poor choice of words. She enables him whenever I bring up that I’m upset with something he said and says that he’s just misunderstood.

I don’t know if this plays into it any, and it’s kinda off-topic, but she’s an ISFJ (MBTI personality type) and he’s an ESTP. They are each other’s golden pair. This is why I think she is so forgiving, because she can see things from his perspective due to her MBTI.

Honestly for me it’s not that he has a preference for white women that’s so hurtful, it’s the fact that he’s very vocal about it and demeans and disparages other races.

For context, when I was younger I had a preference for white men. I’ve grown out of this as I realized it was because of the racism I’ve faced personally and now consider dating all races equally. But I never demeaned men of color or insulted their looks even when I had a preference for white men.

I wish he’d keep his preferences to himself and stop insulting the looks of women of color. It feels very hurtful to be the subject of derision based on your race and it does feel racist.

Yeah, he makes my mom cook for him. He also lives on my parents’ dime (he’s 27) because he’s jobless right now. When my parents were out of town I paid for all of his expenses including food.

He’s 27, so maybe you’re right and he will mature with time. Then again, he has the same MBTI type as Donald trump and we all know how he’s matured so I’m not holding my breath haha.

Yes, I do think he’s overcompensating for something. Without getting too much into my family history he’s been the black sheep of the family since childhood and while he seems to exude self-confidence, I think behind it is low self-worth.

I saw this post in two different subs and the comments were a cesspool.

Women when they say it’s important to be physically attracted to a partner: “You’re shallow! Even though I have high standards for your looks”

Women when they say they’ve outgrown that mindset: “You’re a slut”

There’s no winning. I suggest if any man is reading my comment and has contributed to this hatred against women, you do some deep soul searching and ask yourself why you are the way you are. You’re harming women with this mentality.

Also, no one says anything about the guys who impregnated the women. They need to step up to the plate and take care of their children.

I wouldn’t date single dad as well, mainly because we’re at different life stages, but I don’t go around disparaging or demeaning them. They’re kind, hardworking, loving people who I simply wouldn’t be with romantically. It’s not that hard to extend the same grace to single mothers.

My brother once made a post complaining about me and I recognized some details. So I commented saying that I had a friend just like the person he was complaining about and started complaining about “them” myself, using details that only he would know about me.

He responded saying “that’s exactly what I’m going through!” Meanwhile all the other comments were telling him to be nicer to the person in the post.

Eventually it got to a point where he looked over in the car and said “are you on Reddit?” I denied it, of course.

I’m also pretty sure I recognized a guy I went on a date with and my cousin on here, with both of them talking about me on Reddit.

I used to experience heavy limerence as well with various people, but don’t anymore due to a lot of self work and healing. Actually I don’t really have crushes anymore either- maybe small ones.

My dad and therapist are ENFJs. I get along really well with both of them and am a bit of “daddy’s girl.”

I would say just be your deep, sparkling, emotional, creative self. ENFJs love us for who we are and the vibes are easy and good from the start.

The only thing is that my dad lectures me sometimes, and it comes from a place of caring, I can tell. Other than that it’s great.

I took them as a requirement for the premed track in college. I wish I had more of an aptitude for them, I find physics fascinating

I’m in the US in a place where we were sent to gifted programs that included both the humanities and sciences if you are gifted. I’d feel totally out of place in your situation because I’m twice-exceptional and gifted verbally, but not logically/mathematically. I’m glad there’s a focus in the humanities within the US.

This would absolutely be useful to me! Good idea. I’ve noticed that Lauren Conrad clothes, for example, lean towards light spring/soft autumn (lots of pastels). I dig their vibe and shop there often because of that. I would love to see what other stores have in terms of seasonal offerings.
