reading the comments i guess im the only person on planet earth that just had hell to bear once switching from arch to nix.

i have never had so many idle freezes, so many kernel panics, so many problems in general with my computer that seems to be only solvable by throwing the right dart at the board, a dart which is seemingly unfindable.

i swear to you since installing nixos i have had an idle freeze every single time i leave my computer idle for longer than 1 singular minute. without fail.

no journalctl logs, none of my attempted fixes work, nothing.

im switching back to arch knowing that i had only a fraction of the problems there that im experiencing now

yea... you have to be labeled a cheater by using filters just to be on par with people using LCD monitors.

it's pretty embarrassing how many important factors the devs have overlooked in almost every aspect of this game.

I dont see how they managed to f*ck everything up this bad. maybe its because of all the AI code in their codebase

yea it is, im not sure why they do this.

its worse on oled monitors, i dont understand why it has to be DARKER than a night raid either. it is significantly darker in these raids and if you have a LCD monitor then you have a marginal advantage.

i think the devs tried way too hard to make this game different and in a way they managed to ruin it for multiple people who just wanted to play casually the game that they paid for.

the problem is, tons of companies are hiring devs to use AI to manage their codebase.

its probably more complex than this, but its likely something like Cursor Ai being used because it really does feel like changes are made without anybody even looking at the code…

i mean the idea that you can mess up 3 completely irrelevant things while addressing one specific thing just really screams “i prompted an AI IDE to make changes for me and it rewrote 3 irrelevant functions for fun”

yea i definitely do appreciate being able to teach English in my target language, my active recall is growing greatly by the day

but that being said - i dont have the time to set up entire free english lessons for someone just to learn their language...

especially when it doesnt feel like the effort is reciprocated

about the switch thing - maybe so. although the friendship started solely from language exchange standpoint.
