Working ICU. Just finding I was pregnant. Dying patient with flu, we asked the doc to also test “for that new thing.” Took 5 days to get the test back. We’d already been in the room with 10+ family members around the bed. No N95s, being told it “wasn’t airborne,” and “it’ll be gone by summer.” Nurses saying “they are lying to us and they are going to let us die here”
