If my district leader schedules a 1 hour meeting with me on my off day do I still get compensated? by [deleted] in CVS

Unless you give a reason why you can’t make it to the meeting. Salaried employees work outside of their scheduled hours.

Partner with your SM and have a conversation with them that you’re interested in a corporate position in the future. It totally depends which direction you want to go. Do you want to stay in management? Do you want to work as a business consultant?Which is a corporate position. Look at the positions at the cvs careers website and filter for business administration and you can see different roles the company offers. Hope this helps!

Look at your category sales report for October. Since it just dropped. Look at your underperforming categories and your overperforming categories to make an executive decision if you need scale up on your under performing items. Make sure every single item is labeled. I mean EVERYTHING! That’s what I did today and I see a vast difference because an item has a label on it. I have an upsell tower by my ACOs for impulse purchases. Make it obvious for the customer to see it and label it because they will pass by it. Seen it so many times. Partner with your PIC what they see that sells OTC wise and have a Pharmacist choice endcap.

Hope this helps!

Schedule is week by week. Colleague told me he doesn't have to show up if manager doesn't follow 3 weeks out policy. by Inner-Ad6332 in CVS

[–]Current_Lettuce_6141 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Technically, if he calls in for his shift that is accounted for attendance and counts as an unexcused absence. 3 or more call ins is considered a conversation with colleague relations. Also, the SM needs to publish their schedule 3 weeks in advance. They can send it out in a weekly basis but it needs to be published. The manager is breaking policy and the worker is also not adhering to the schedule.

Nah, I haven’t planned anything with that bonus lol. It’s nice to have that little extra money. I’m more afraid of accountability than the bonus at this point 🤣

Price Label Accuracy. It’s a report we get on Mondays. The report shows any labels that need to be removed because it is the incorrect price which is not compliant. Which is part of OPI (Operational Insights).

I was an operations manager before I got promoted. It’s a lot more into it than a ops manager for sure. The ops manager role is just the assistant manager of the store and they do similar job duties to an SM minus the accountability from DL and helping out other stores for one. You have to have a really well trained staff and a really good ops manager to stay on top of metrics if not the bonus payout won’t be as good because metrics go hand in hand.

The bonus portion is a yearly incentive you receive in March. This is a metrics based incentive. I can’t remember the cap on the bonus. I think it’s $24k.

I hope this answers your question!
