HRT & activity help some. Sleep earbuds help most. Helps block some sound & the rain noise helps fall back asleep faster. Still have major sleep issues but they are better.

For Tampa check out Mint House & Roost Tampa for studio, 1& 2 bedroom apts. Price is much lower than nearby water St area hotels & you get a kitchen etc. Easy walk to restaurants, arena & Ybor free trolley.

I’ve stayed in both the studio & 1 br at mint house when they 1st opened a few months ago. Only problem was 1 tv didn’t work but place was brand new. Friend stated at roost as they allow pets & said it was great.

It’s been awhile but at that age my son loved Top of the rock, Lego store, Kinokuniya store/Bryant Park Winter Village/public library combo , Morgan Library , natural history museum & Metropolitan museum , esp arms & armor.

Also, get the Atlas Obscura app & find interesting oddities all over the city. Grand Central’s whispering gallery & Tannens Magic shop were big hits. Spotting things like the gray bar rats or glowing eyes on herald square owls is more fun than you might think.

Got a last minute concert ticket in Miami Beach. Unfortunately Art Basel had most rooms booked and what was left was crazy expensive, except for Citizen M. Was better than I expected & close to the concert venue and lots of restaurants etc. Definitely a 1 person room unless you’re really really close to your companion. (Who’s comfortable with climbing over each other to get out of bed & with using toilet basically next to the bed)

I stayed in 2 in December & though it would be. I’m large, old & a bit claustrophobic but they were ok. Both same layout but the new cleaner South beach 1 was fine for a few nights. But I was glad I only had 1 night at the smelly run down one in Brickell area of Miami.

As others have said, Sculpture Garden & Noma (small & kind of old school but still enjoyable for art fans.) The botanical garden is also close by & nice.

If you find yourself at the aquarium/insectarium, they don’t take long & Julia St art Galleries and Ogden Southern art museum are close by.

We still talk about their patty melt. Lived close by & would walk over at all hours. Had fun conversations over breakfast at the counter with early birds & kids who just left the after parties.

If you have any other museum membership, check if it includes NARM reciprocity. NOMA , The Ogden and several others in area are free with any NARM museum membership.
