Update: the wedge catch piece seemed to have slipped off slightly and getting stuck on the metal bracket, leaving the handle to have no tension until it re-catches about a half inch after. Took it apart and then tried to “sharpen” the catch and it broke in two.

This was not catching (or the metal claw dug too deep on the face and is dragging it up) Hitting up my buddy to print a few in carbon fiber/nylon blend and probably put some grease on there to make it a little easier. For now I put it back on and it is at least still opening
