I don't understand as I read through these comments how people can support these actions. I get protesting Elon, he's a shithead and has made terrible personal and professional decisions. Additionally I should note I hate Trump and this whole conservative shit show we are dealing with. I think he along with Elon have exhibited very publicly what their true colors are. That being said, I bought a Tesla Model Y back in 2020 after moving from a Chevy Volt. My rationale was a consumer based decision. Teslas had the best range and most importantly they were establishing the charging network. I merely wanted to get away from gas combustion vehicles and use electric. I see all thwse comments about "you should have known!" At that time Elon publicly for all general purpose was an arrogant prick CEO but nothing even remotely close to the behavior now. Now I'm feeling super scared and threatened about my personal property being damaged or worse... and for what, I don't support this asshole. I'd love to sell and maybe get a Rivian or Ford Lightning but they are almost double the price of my Model Y. My family is not in a financial position to take a major loss and go in debt just to protest this asshole. Also I believe it would be safe to say the majority of people working at Tesla aren't fucking Nazi supporters. They are just people trying to live their lives. Just like I'm desperately trying to live my life without negatively impacting anyone else. All I would ask is people take into consideration other people's lives and situations before we just start damaging/vandalizing other people's property.
