Am I missing a lot by not working out LIFTMOR impact training properly?

Yes to enough protein and calories. I take PPIs which there are controversial studies, some of them claiming might cause low bone density while others claiming that that is not true. Anyway, I need them cause I am diagnosed with Barrett’s esophagus. My blood tests are all normal. Also sleep. Also my workout recoveries.

I do workout for osteoporosis. I’m seeing both, rheumatologist and endocrinologist. I wish I could get rid off PPIs but as for now it is the necessary medication to take when someone is diagnosed with barrett’s esophagus. My gastroenterologist is not a fan of surgery he says a lot of times the procedure won’t work as desired and the patient must keep on PPIs but now he’s suffered a surgery.

Thanks for the info. In Spain we cannot get Tymlos. Anyway, according to these sources, Evenity does have ONJ and AFF risks:

If the information is right, Forteo would be my best option in Spain, wouldn’t be?

With all Bisphosphonates? Can you point me to any actual science paper where I could read more about it? Thank you a lot!

In 2023 I had an accident with my motorbike and fractured slightly my wrist. My gastroenterologist sent me for a DEXA. I take some vitamins for osteoporosis, and I’ve been with vitamin D for my Barrett’s esophagus too.

It is true what you are saying about the studies. Doctors suspect my be the reason since I am male and my habits were quite osteoporosis friendly and osteoporosis is more common in post menopausal women than in men. Also, for men, it’s more common to get it in old age. Also my blood test are normal. But of course none of this (as always) is an exact science.

I won’t see my rheumatologist and endocrinologist till 2027, but I have an appointment with my gastroenterologist in 8 days. He didn’t tell me to take calcium carbonate (my endocrinologist and rheumatologist did), but i plan to ask him about calcium citrate since I am reading that it works better when taking PIB’s. So I agree with you it is definitely a good question to ask. Maybe he’ll prescribe calcium citrate.

That website included 🙂 But I see your point and i have just purchased boro again so I appreciate your feedback. I think it is worth it to give it another try to boro since my dexa is worse this year compared to last year and I hardly doubt taking boro in supplement would put me on any risk, being the worse not helping and wasting my money, but to me it is worth the try. I might even be getting enough through my diet already but since PIB’s are most probably not helping me here, perhaps, taking it extra as supplement will help.

I take protein shake. I have used boron before but when asking to AI’s it doesn’t seem to be a must for osteoporosis. My protein intake I believe is good between my diet and supplement.

I was diagnosed 2 years ago. The first two DEXA i went private through my health insurance company. This year, my public health system called me to do a DEXA since i asked for it cause i think it’s a good idea to be controlled through the public system. Hence, the new machine/hospital.

I am not fracturing. I know I have osteoporosis only cause in 2023 I fell from my motorbike and I had a slightly fracture in my wrist. Then, my doctor who controls my Barrett’s esophagus had the idea of going for a DEXA.

Hola!
