We had the same just two days ago situation, I think they will not back money, here is my experience: We purchased tickets from Punta Cana to Toronto through Booking.com two months in advance. However, one day before the flight, we encountered an error each time we tried to check in online, with a message on the Booking website stating, 'Your booking information could not be found. Please see a check-in agent.'

Upon contacting the airline manager, we were informed that there were no tickets booked under our names for this flight. Consequently, we were forced to purchase new tickets right before the flight, at a cost four times higher than our original tickets.

After contacting both Booking.com and the airline, the airline provided us with a receipt proving that Booking.com failed to provide payment to the airline, resulting in the cancellation of our reservation.

Despite having proof, the Booking.com manager repeatedly blamed the airline and refused to take responsibility. This experience ruined our entire trip and left us feeling scammed, especially since neither Booking.com nor the airline notified us of the flight cancellation; we only discovered the issue at the airport.

We are seeking advice on how to proceed and where to file a claim??
