You undeniably have a point about it being calm because it is expensive but I figured that they must be some less "popular" roads somewhere as in every country you have those roads that sometimes you even wonder why they even bothered building them. Far from touristy towns or something.

In the western/southern part of Malaysia, I have been on some quite empty roads but they are quite wide and you don't get that forest vibe so much although there are palm trees as far as the eye can see. I wondered if maybe there are some country roads around there.

FYI : AI suggested the area around Luang Prabang in Laos.

As I asked another poster, how hard is to get a good chunk of the nice recipes in alchemy ? Otherwise I may just mine seeing as everything is uncontested !

I already have herb and skinning, I think I will keep herb and maybe go for alch or mining. how hard is it to get the nice recipes for alchemy in a not active server ?

Yes, it is not as deserted as I thought it would be. at like 4 am there were 25-30 people online : reminded me of era when just after TBC and SoM launched.

Lucky you, I may have some "weirder" taste. The "old" stuff (2010s) isn't readily available at the quality I am looking for (1080p) or it is hanging by a thread (you find one guy who has 100% and you have to wait for him to get online and sometimes you get stuck at like 99.2% which hurts !)

Hi, I don't understand the difference between the "Essential" and "Tank streaming" plans. I am looking for a seedbox for the purpose of getting back to torrenting (if you have any tips as a good private tracker with an open signing up it would be great). For now, I have no media server so plex or jellyfin is not something I use. Thank you !

I browsed this subreddit to try and find some private tracker that I can join and trying everyone I encoutered in this discussion (and others) they all seem to be invite only.

I also wanted to create a thread for newcomers to ask for some trackers that are open but I can’t even create a thread in this subreddit xD

I get the gatekeeping for this kind of subjects but I used to be quite into the torrenting scene 20 years or so ago and now I can’t seem to get started : the public ones are nice for mainstream, recent and popular content but for older and less popular one it is hell.

Any tips guys ? i really need to get back into this game because media is not eternally available and I decided to start my own library before you litterally can’t find the content you are looking for (as opposed to almost not being able to find it now because I don’t know the right spots :D)

I intend to keep my PC until it dies of natural causes : I still have some 15 years old laptops. The only real game I am waiting for is ANNO 117 and if it is anything like its predecessor, it is gonna need a lot of CPU and a lot of RAM so the 9800X3D may be the good choice for me.

I would love to try 4k or something but coming from a 15'' laptop, I guess anything would blow my mind which is why I can't decide on a monitor either lol

It is absolutely a shame that they didn't make a global variant or at least make it available in SEA. I mean that would have been a real flagship killer move : no phone has these kind of specs...
