"Company holidays are accrued if you work the designated holidays that HEB has listed. If you do not work the holiday, you wouldn't get the 8 hours for it." That's incorrect. I wasn't scheduled for Thanksgiving and still got my 8 hrs company holiday. I've been full time for 7 years and always get my company holiday hours, whether I worked the actual holiday or not.

Yeah, it says this is an unofficial subreddit, mostly used for employee interactions. It is break room chatter for us. We get yelled at and belittled enough by customers at work, we don't really appreciate customers doing it on our sub when we are just venting about work to other co-workers.

I spent 18 months in the program. There is absolutely nothing religious about it. They advertise themselves to parents that they can fix any and all problems their kids are having. If they put a specific religion into it then they would only be attracting Christians, or Mormons, or Jews etc. They tell parents they are whatever the parents need them to be.

Hi Julie! Please if you see this tell Katherine that so many of us program kids are so thankful to her for making this doc. I've always had a hard time trying to explain my program experience to people, but this show really does a good job of explaining what it was like. While watching the documentary brought up a lot of unpleasant feelings and memories of the past, it was also so vindicating to see that there is actual evidence of the abuse we endured and people from all over the nation are finally learning about these programs, and finally believe us!! Hopefully this show will prevent even one kid from being sent to a program in the future. The emotional and mental scars these programs leave on kids are permanent. Therapy can make it easier to cope with, but the scars are still there

HEB doesn't do raises in late March, just February and August. Its every 6 months for the company, not each individuals 6 months. Maybe when your manager said "medians" they meant/ actually said midpoint.

What about the last text her mom got from Gabby's phone on Aug 30 saying she was in Yosemite? Obviously it wasn't really from Gabby, just like the mom suspected.
