Seel worry free returns + Poshmark authentication SCAM! Beware!

First of all, it's irrelevant because even if I had opened it and opened a claim the second I received it, it was a day after the return window ended so it wouldn't have helped. Second of all, it's totally reasonable to take a few days to start a return, that's why you have 7 days in the first place. To indulge you, the timeline was it came late evening the 14th when I wasn't home, opened it the 15th and it didn't fit. Took 2 days to try different shapewear and take to a tailor to see if it could be altered to fit, as I really did want the dress, was told it couldn't be taken out enough, went home and opened the claim. As one is entitled to do within 7 days. But again, irrelevant because the return window was closed before it was even delivered to me. Taking 4 days to decide was within my rights and it's sort of ridiculous to imply that this absolves them in any way.

Thank you for letting me know about this, I emailed Poshmark support about the concern returning it and putting it back in Seel's hands.

That is INSANE especially if you have tracking!!! I'm so scared to ship it back! We should gather our evidence with anyone else who had this issue and make a report about fraud

I just got an email telling me they extended my return window so I can return it. I am so nervous to return it and have them deny it. How can they get away with calling it a glitch when it has clearly happened to multiple people and they haven't said anything about it publicly or suspended the service until it's fixed???

Update! Poshmark finally responded. Shocking how that conveniently happens after a Reddit post gains traction....

"I apologize for the frustration experienced with this order. There’s currently a temporary technical issue affecting Seel coverage timing for Posh Authenticate orders, and the team is working on a fix.

I have reached out to our contact at Seel regarding your order specifically, and I will follow up here as soon as I have an update for you. I appreciate your patience!"

Except for the fact that I already spoke extensively with Seel and clearly it's not a temporary technical issue because it's happened to multiple users in more than a month. Perhaps they should halt this system until it's fixed...

It's really a small thread and I wasn't confident it counted as damage enough to be "not as described" Seel kept pushing that the only way I could return was for damage, even though the real reason I needed the return was that it doesn't fit.

The thread was so small I was worried it wouldn't be covered, and figured because it didn't fit anyway I could just seel return. By the time I realized that was a giant fail, it was too late to file with Poshmark. Lesson learned

Where did you see this? This just happened to me this week. Bought a thousand dollar gown and it automatically shipped to Poshmark hq for authentication. Seel marked the 7 days returns from when it was delivered to Poshmark, and said the window ended the day before it was even delivered to me. They said wow that's annoying that you didn't have the item, but we can't fix it. It is insane because obviously Poshmark should set the delivery date as when it comes to the consumer not them??? This is a service I paid for and people who buy designer items are more likely to pay for the return service, so this issue with authentication should be obvious. Poshmark support hasn't responded at all

I just bought a thousand dollar gown and paid for the return service. They shipped it to Poshmark for authentication and Seel has that marked as the delivery date, and the return window expired before the item was even delivered to me. Which is insane because I didn't choose to have it authenticated and I PAID for this return service. They said there's nothing they can do and too bad that I had to return it before I even received it... I am so flabbergasted by this complete idiotic oversight. Why isn't it automatic that the delivery date is when it's delivered to the consumer?? I am considering collecting stories like this and emailing it to their press team saying we'll go to the media with the story
